Rita Regina Millar

Rita Regina Millar, 83, of Reading, PA passed away July 10, 2014 in her daughter's home.

She was the widow of David W. Millar, Sr.

Born February 23,1931, daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine Cusack.

Rita was an avid singer, singing with the Lower Merion High School choir and various church choirs over the years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and trips to the casinos. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her three children: Margot R. Millar, Newark, DE; Bruce F. Millar (Karen), Middletown, DE; and Karen P. Siefer (Chris), Reading, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rita was predeceased by her son, David W. Millar, Jr.; her grandson, Ronnie Tranum, Jr.; and 11 siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1:00 pm at a reception at Pica's Restaurant 7803 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942. Edward J.
