Rita M. Leier

Rita M. Leier, 85, formerly of Pennside and Shillington, died June 30, 2007 in Berkshire Center.

Her husband, John H. Leier, died March 9, 2001.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Matilda Arentz.

She was the office manager for Yeich Roofing Co., Shillington for over 15 years, retiring in 1986.

Rita was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena, Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Twp.

Rita is survived by her son, Barry J. husband of Susanne Leier, Douglassville and her daughter, Sandy J. (Leier) wife of Rick Doll, Reading. Three grandchildren, Lisa (Leier) Bowersox, Nathaniel Doll and Courtney Doll also survive her. She was predeceased by one daughter, Carol Ann Leier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena RCC, Exeter Twp. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the mass at the church. Contributions may be made to St. Catharine's Church 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Edward J.
