Rita Ann Cardinale

Rita Cardinale, 91, of Reading passed away at the Mifflin Center on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

She is survived by her daughters, Francine Chase, Roxanne Gaylor, wife of Chester, and Lisa Nunez, wife of Hector, as well as her six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren , and many nieces and nephews.

Rita is predeceased by her parents, Charles Cardinale and Mary Lavinga, and her siblings, Carmen, Charles, and Richard.

Rita was born and raised in West Reading. She graduated from West Reading High School in 1953. She went on to work as a telephone operator for CNA Insurance Company until retiring in 1994. She also served as a lunch aide at the Wyomissing School District Cafeteria for many years.
