Richard W. White

Richard W. White, 88, of Cumru Township, died of natural causes January 27th at 6:36 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been since January 5th.

He was the widower of Helen I. (Heck) White, who died November 15, 1988.

Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Charles and Charlette (Faver) White.

White was employed 33 years at Luppold & Bryant retiring in 1979 as a salesman.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII.

White was a past commander of the West Reading VFW post 3405.

He was also a past president of the Imperial Club, West Lawn (1962-1963).

White is survived by a sister, Josephine (White) Block of Lebanon.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
