Richard A. Stotler

Richard A. Stotler, 81, passed away in his West Lawn residence, Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Homer C. and Margaret R. (McHale) Stotler.

Richard was a member of St. Katharine of Siena R.C. Church, Wayne.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, and later received his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Penn.

Richard started his career working on computer systems. He later worked as a project manager on large mail sorting machines, and ended his career as an engineering consultant. When working as a project manager selling large machines for the postal industry, Richard enjoyed travelling the world, especially Italy.

He enjoyed playing with his great nieces and nephews. Richard was an avid Villanova sports fan, and most of all, enjoyed dining out.

Richard is survived by a brother, Carl K., husband of Eleanor Stotler, Collegeville ; a sister, Mary S., wife of Rod Baumert, West Lawn; a cousin, Donna Yolo, Wisconsin; and an Aunt, Frances Stotler, Wisconsin. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 12 p.m., in St. Ignatius Loyola R. C. Church,

2810 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19608. A visitation will be one hour prior the Mass in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
