Richard A. "Allen" Stockholm, Sr., 75, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away in Ephrata on February 15, 2026. Born in Bernville, he was the son of Warren and Evelyn (Allen) Stockholm. He was the loving husband of Patricia A. (Rotkiske) with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.
Allen was a 1969 graduate of Wyomissing Area High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Allen dedicated his career to working as an electrician.
Allen enjoyed trips to Ocean City, MD, with his family, home improvement projects, and going out to dinner and relaxing at home with his wife and family. Allen was a selfless individual that would always be there whenever he received a call. In his free time, Allen enjoyed watching sports and spending time outside in warm weather.
He is survived by his spouse, Patricia, and his children: Richard A. Stockholm, Jr., fiancé of Rachel Sitler, of Bethlehem, Beau Stockholm, and Kathryn Caplinger, fiancée of Damon Harris, of Richland. He will be missed by his grandson, Jael E. Peterson, granddaughter, Emma L. Harris, and his siblings: Warren Stockholm, Jr., Marsha Hoyer, Carol Huber, and Karen Eschbach.
Allen was predeceased by his son, Jael Caplinger, his daughter, Melissa Stockholm, his brother, Terry Stockholm, and his sister, Marion Richards.
Allen will be laid to rest on February 19, 2026 at 10AM at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
