Richard J. Servis

Richard J. Servis, 73, of Limekiln Road, Oley Township, died Oct. 31 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

He was the husband of Sophie M. (Guraski) Servis.

Born in Newark, N.J., he was a son of the late Howard and Mabel (Farrell) Servis.

Servis was employed for 50 years as the owner of R.J. Servis Co., Reading, retiring in 1991.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Servis is also survived by a sister, Joan (Servis) Brenner, Old Bridge, N.J.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Mount Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. The Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
