Richard Kenneth Reis

Richard Kenneth Reis, Jr., 53, died October 27, 2013 in his Reading residence.

He was the husband of Lillie Violet Harp.

Born October 6, 1960 in Reading, PA., he was a son of the late Richard K. Sr., and Ida Marie (Deeds) Reis.

He was employed 30 years with Quaker Maid Meats, Reading, last working October 17th as a fork lift operator.

Richard was a member of the Leesport Gun Club and was a former member of the Junior Fire Company Association.

He is also survived by two children: Richard K. Reis III, fiancé of Sarah A. Danby of Reading and Melissa Lynn Reis, partner of Nicki J. Randolph of Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Sheryl Lynn Reis of Reading and three grandchildren: Kalyssa A. Reis, Aiden S. Reis and Liam S. Reis.

Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held Thursday from 12:30 pm until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. For online condolences, visit www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
