Richard N. Price

Richard N. Price Jr, 77, of Richmond Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 29, 2024, in the care of Reading Hospital. He was the husband of 56 years of Linda (Becker) Price.

Born in Reading to the late Richard N. Price Sr. and Jeanne (Wells) Price, Rich graduated from Muhlenberg Highschool in 1964 before entering the Air National Guard of Pennsylvania and serving his country honorably. He later completed courses at Penn State for programming. Rich spent much of his career as the Manager of Data Processing for Bank of Pennsylvania and Merchants Bank. He later owned and operated R & R Chem-dry Carpet Cleaning company from 1988 until his retirement in 1996.

He was very friendly and willing to talk with anyone. Rich enjoyed reruns of MASH. He will be remembered as a great dad and a wonderful husband.

In addition to his wife, Linda, Rich's memory will be treasured by their son, Richard N. Price III, husband of Melinda, of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Cody Price and Taylor Price; sister, Sandra Powell, widow of Alfred, of Warrington; and nieces, Wendy Johnson and Penny Powell.

In lieu of flowers, Rich's family ask for kind acts to be done in his memory. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19506.
