Richard Podlasek

Richard Podlasek, 68, died January 10, 2013, in his Spring Township residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Binasiewicz) Podlasek.

He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1962 and Kutztown University in 1966.

Richard was a self-employed financial consultant.

He enjoyed traveling through the United States, Costa Rico and Nicaragua and spending time with his dog Kanoogie.

Richard was survived by his sister, Dolores A., wife of Frank Ferko, Wyomissing.

Richard was predeceased by his daughter, Natasha Podlasek.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery.
