Richard Heber Moser, 78, of Reading, died April 11, 2011 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.
He was the husband of Evelyn Mae (Showers) Moser, who died November 27, 2008.
Born March 12, 1933 in Reading, he was a son of the late Walter and Irene (Ziegler) Moser.
Richard was employed as an electrical lineman with IBEW #146 for over 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Richard enjoyed playing his harmonica and was active in a harmonica club.
He also enjoyed his time as a resident at Berks Heim, joining in on all of the activities, including bingo, the gentleman's club, attending weekly church services and being a greeter at the front door.
Surviving are four children: Richard Kevin Moser of California; Cheryl M. (Livinghouse), wife of Gene Freeman of Reading; Kenneth Livinghouse of Shillington and Jeffrey Livinghouse of Strausstown.
In addition, there are 2 brothers and 3 sisters surviving.
Other survivors include 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Richard was predeceased by a daughter, Karen F. (Livinghouse) Smith, two grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Road, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc. 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
