Richard C. Keller

Richard C. Keller, 80 of Spring Township died October 29, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Miriam M. (Kramer) Keller.

Born March 3, 1929 in West Reading, he was a son of the late William and Lulu (Koch) Keller.

Richard was a 1948 graduate of West Reading High School.

He was employed in banking for 41 years; first at Berks County Trust, then at American Bank and finally Meridian Bank, from which he retired in 1989 in bank management.

Richard was a member of St. James Church, West Reading for many years where he sang in the choir. Most recently he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sinking Spring.

He was past President of Northeast Rotary Club and a member of Conrad Weiser Rotary Club.

Surviving is a brother Russell G. Keller of Grove City, OH and a sister, Virginia K., widow of Paul Lesko of West Wyomissing.

Other survivors include 5 nephews and 4 nieces.

Richard was predeceased by two brothers, Lewis C. Keller and Robert W. Keller.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. John's Church, 4125 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, 19608. Burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
