Richard F. Heiser, 88, of West Reading, died August 2, 2012, in Masonic Home, Elizabethtown.
His wife, Bette J. (Winters) Heiser, died on September 6, 2006.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence S. and Florence M. (Machemer) Heiser.
He was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School and attended two years at University of Illinois while in the army.
Richard was a U.S. Air force veteran serving during WWII. He was employed as a salesman and manager for George D. Barbey Electronics. He later worked for the Bank of Pennsylvania as a bank messenger, retiring in December, 1996.
Richard was a member of Chandler Lodge #227 a 32nd Degree Mason and also a Shriner.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Sandra S., wife of Gregory Braley, West Reading; his brother, Joseph I. Heiser, Kenhorst; his sister, Anna M. Sinkiecwicz, Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Lisa Rosado, Christina Sponagle and David Braley and three great-grandchildren.
Services and Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
