Richard Ethan Stufflet, 92, of Lakewood, N.J. and formerly of West Reading, died August 9, 2015 in Manchester Manor, NJ.
His wife, Jane Louise (Auge) Stufflet, died in 1993.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence Edward and Sadie Viola (Faust) Stufflet.
He was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School.
Richard was an automotive retail salesman for 42 years, working for Morgan-Stern Chevrolet, Reading and Dick Horrigan VW and BMW, Reading.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran in WWII, serving in both Atlantic and Pacific USS Ahrens.
Richard was a member of the Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church, Plowville.
He was also a member of the American Legion, Shillington and the Veteran of Foreign Wars VFW of Sinking Spring.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Bonnie L. Arndt, Manchester, NJ; five grandchildren, Michelle Coppenger, Michael Arndt, Mary Ann Terra-Nova, Pamela Cruz and Bradley Speicher; six great-grandchildren and his son-in-law, Kenneth Speicher, Shillington.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Marsha G. Speicher; three brothers, George H. Stufflet. Robert M. Stufflet and Charles R. Stufflet; his step-brother, Clarence E. Stufflet, Jr. and his granddaughter, Jennifer Howell.
Services will be Wednesday at Noon in Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3520 Plow Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. to Noon in the church. Burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address. Edward J.
