Richard Crowe

Rev. Richard Crowe,88, of Shillington died Sept.4 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Adele(Binger) Crowe.

He was a graduate of the Eastern Baptist College and the Eastern Baptist Seminary in 1952. He also graduated from Temple University School of Theology in 1954.

He was a Pastor of St. Matthew`s UCC of Kunkletown 1969-1983,St. Johns UCC of Easton 1961-1969,St. Matthews UCC and Enola and Trinity UCC of Marysville 1957-1961,St Paul`s UCC of Allentown 1954-1957. He was also the Asst. Pastor of Faith U.C.C. of Philadelphia, and the Visitation Pastor of Heidelberg U.C.C. of New Tripoli-1983-1988.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

He is surived by a sister Peggy (Crowe)Christie of Whitestone N.Y., 3 Nephews and 3 Nieces.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc.,739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
