Richard W. Braun

Richard Walter Braun, 56, of Muhlenberg Township, died October 4, 2009 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born in Reading, August 26, 1953, he was a son of Paul E. and June M. (Montz) Braun of Muhlenberg Township.

Richard was a 1971 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

He was employed as Parts Manager and Service Coordinator with Singer Equipment Company, Morgantown, for 28 years and was terminated in September, 2009 due to poor health.

Richard enjoyed music and working with computers.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Surviving is a brother, Paul E., Jr., husband of Susan (Neujahr) Braun of Aurora, CO.

Other survivors include three nieces, Emma, Abigail and Molly.

Richard is also survived by many cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 2 p.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held one hour prior to mass in the church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
