Richard S. Bennecoff

Richard S. Bennecoff, 96 of Shoemakersville died October 12, 2015 in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. His late wife, Marie K. (Gruber) Bennecoff predeceased him in death on November 28. 1984. He was born in Maxatawny Township and was the son of the late James M. and Annie L. (Stump) Bennecoff. He worked at Moselem Springs Golf course as a greens keeper for 31 years before retiring. He was a member of Zion's Union Maxatwany Church. Two daughters, Barbara M. wife of Lowell Thomas, Hamburg, Gail D. wife of James Perdoch, Mountain Top, and a son, Dale R. husband of Sharon Bennecoff, Shoemakersville survive Richard. Seven grandchildren and five great -grandchildren also survive him. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16th at 11:00 AM at Zion's Union Maxatawny Church, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, PA. 19530. A viewing will be held in the church from 10: 00 to 11:00 AM.
