Richard J. Beam

Richard J. Beam, 70, of Spring Twp., died October 20, 2007 while on a hunting trip in Colorado.

He was the husband of Loraine M. (Addesso) Beam.

Born in Palmyra, he was the son of Stella (Mikoni) Beam, Lebanon and the late Nevin Beam.

He was an electronics technician for 39 years at the former Western Electric and retired from Agere in 2002.

Richard was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Richard was a member of the Mohnton Fish and Game Association.

He is also survived by his two daughters, Stephanie wife of Ralph D. Stamm, Blandon; and Audrey wife of Robert A. Kocon, Bethlehem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius R.C.C. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
