Richard E. Angstadt, Sr., 82, formerly of Reading and of Boynton Beach, FL, died in Bethesda Hospital on June 7, 2017.

Born in Reading, on November 24, 1934, he was the son of the late John and Helen Angstadt.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant during the Korean War.

Richard was the former owner of Berkshire Family Restaurant, Wyomissing. He owned a construction company that specialized in building geometric dome homes, and co-owned Angstadt Associates Real Estate, Inc., Wyomissing, with his former wife, Ruth L. Angstadt. Richard worked in the automotive industry in Florida for 19 years before he retired in 2005.

Richard is survived by his wife, Jackie, Boynton Beach, FL; two brothers, John Angstadt, Reading, PA and Gary Angstadt (Mary Ann), Reading, PA; and his sister, Mary Jane Cepeda, Reading, PA. He is also remembered fondly by his five children: Richard E. Angstadt, Jr. (Kasey), Shillington, PA, Cindy Angstadt Temple, PA, Craig Angstadt (Olga), Boca Raton, FL, Rodney Angstadt, Boca Raton, FL and Randall Angstadt (Sandy), Melbourne, FL and two step-sons: Joey Fuscaldo (Jennie), Norfolk, VA and Jeffrey Fuscaldo Boynton Beach, FL. He is also remembered lovingly as "Pop Pop" by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a step-granddaughter.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his former wife, Ruth L. Angstadt, brother, Jay Angstadt, and sister, Joan Spencer.

A veteran's memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 10 a.m. in National Veteran's Cemetery, 6501 North State Road #7; Lake Worth, FL. Edward J.
