Rhea J. Howell

Rhea Jean Howell, 54, died May 21, 2009 in her Reading residence.

Born, September 27, 1954, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Emmanuel Howell and Jeanette C. (Henry) Kemmerling. She was also predeceased by her step-father James Kemmerling.

Surviving are three siblings: Robert Mundell of West Reading; Darla J. (Howell), wife of Jerry Holleran Jr., and their daughter (Rhea's niece) Bridget T., all of Spring Township; Clarence "Butch" Howell and a sister-in-law, Carlyne Howell, widow of James E. Howell of Staten Island, NY.

She is also survived by a daughter Margaret A. (Monroe), wife of Richard P. Trexler of Sinking Spring, and their children (Rhea's grandchildren), Jessica N. and Jarrett R.

Prayer services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
