Reva A. Mitchell

Reva A. Mitchell, 90, of Country Meadows, died July 31 in Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been since June 9.

Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Reese) Mitchell.

She was a graduate of St. Mary's Institute, Amsterdam, NY in 1934.

Reva was employed as a secretary by Scudder Investments, NY, NY for 40 years retiring in 1986.

She is survived by one sister, Carol A. (Mitchell) Schuck, Reading and 14 nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one brother, Joseph Mitchell and 3 sisters, Mary Mitchell, Florence Mitchell and Alice Mark.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be Monday at 1 p.m. in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Friends may call Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
