Rev. Thomas William Ross

Rev. Thomas William Ross, 68, of Wyomissing, died June 10, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Vanessa Lynn (Workman) Ross.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ellen (MacMillan) Ross.

Thomas was a graduate of Mansfield State University, Trenton State University and Lancaster Theological Seminary where he earned a BS in Education, Masters of Arts and a Masters of Divinity.

Thomas loved his ministry; he was a minister for Calvary United Methodist Church, Wyomissing and Boehm's United Methodist Church, Willow Street, PA. Thomas was a very special person who loved being there for his congregation.

He enjoyed reading, fly-fishing, camping and the outdoors.

Thomas was an avid Yankee's, Notre Dame and Eagles fan.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jon A, husband of Alexis, Collegeville and Corey D., husband of Mindy, Downington . He is also survived by two grandchildren, Brewer Ross and Zane Ross.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
