Regina Ann (Lutz) Starr, 87, of Muhlenberg Township, died January 2, 2007 at 12:52 am in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been a patient since August 19, 2004.

She was the widow of Robert Louis Starr.

Born in Tamaqua, Schuylkill County on September 6, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Matthew Edward and Ida Mae (Young) Lutz.

She was a graduate of Tamaqua High School and a graduate of Mansfield State College.

Regina was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Fairless Hills.

She was employed a number of years as a home economic teacher with Bensalem School District, retiring in 1979.

Regina is survived by a brother, Herman Lutz of Tamaqua and three sisters, H. Florence Labyack of Tamaqua, Winifred Yost of Edwardsburg, MI and Helen Bartal of Muhlenberg Township.

Services will be private with the Rev. Brian D. Vasey officiating. Burial will be in Lewisburg Cemetery of Union County. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 501 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
