Rebecca Fay Waisanen

Rebecca F. Waisanen, 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

Rebecca was born on July 31, 1956 to the late Edna Rowe and Gernard Foster. Becky was born in Highland Park, MI. She moved to the Hancock, MI area in the 1970's, where she began her career in the medical field at Houghton County Medical Care Facility. She obtained her RN degree at Suomi College in 1986. Becky moved to PA in 1991 with her family where she continued to enjoy life as an RN, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed computers and cruising with her family.

Becky is survived by her husband, John Waisanen, 5 children, 4 step-children, 18 grandchildren and 7 siblings.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, brother and grand-daughter.

A celebration of her life will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 423 Main Street, Oley PA 19547. A viewing will be held prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Burial will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens in Fleetwood, PA.
