Rebecca Ann Poore

Rebecca Ann (Ruggiero) Poore, 31, of 30 Stonetown Road, Exeter Township, formerly of 3523 Magnolia Ave., Riverview Park was pronounced dead of natural causes April 12th at 2:00 p.m. in her residence.

She was married June 15, 1996 to Alan John Poore.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Rose Ann (Wert) Ruggiero of Spring Township and the late Joseph M. Ruggiero who died October 13, 1987.

She was a 1990 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. Becky also earned her B.S. in Speech Pathology in 1994 and a Masters Degree in Reading Education in 2000, both from Kutztown University.

She was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Tuckerton.

Becky had worked since 1995 in the Early Intervention Department of the Berks County Intermediate Unit, last working Friday.

She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, C. Benton Wert of Temple, and a brother, Joseph M. Ruggiero of Exeter Township.

Other survivors include her father and mother-in-law, Richard D. and Marsha A. (Roy) Poore of Leesport.

She was predeceased by twin daughters, Laura Rose and Meghan Elizabeth who died July 4, 2002.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 100 Tuckerton Road, Tuckerton. Viewing Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to March of Dimes, 519 Reading Avenue, West Reading, Pa 19611.
