Rebecca J. Harrison

Rebecca J. "Becky" Harrison, 30 of West Reading died in her residence June 1, 2014. She was the daughter of Michael C. and Nancy J. (Schuster) Harrison of Tilden Township. Becky was born in West Reading, PA. She was a 2002 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2006 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania receiving both a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Education. She also played field hockey at Indiana. She was employed as a Senior High School Social Studies teacher at Exeter High School. She also coached middle school softball at Exeter and middle school field hockey at Governor Mifflin. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister Melinda wife of Brad Krick, Bern Township and a brother Nathaniel Harrison, Harleysville, a niece Vienna and a nephew Henry. She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, George L. Schuster of Munhall, PA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6th at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
