Raymond J. Wenger Jr., 76, of Roberta Lane, Los Angeles, formerly of Wyomissing, died June 12 in the Veterans Health Center, Los Angeles.

He was the husband of Bee (Beyer) Wenger.

Born in Wyomissing, he was a son of the late Raymond J. Sr. and Loretto E. (McCullough) Wenger.

Wenger had been self-employed as a real estate broker and was previously employed as an attorney for Hughes Air Craft and Xerox Corp., in California.

He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Westwood, Calif.

Wenger was an Army veteran.

He was a 1944 graduate of Central Catholic High School; a 1948 graduate of Holy Cross College, Worcester, Mass.; and a 1951 graduate of Harvard University Law School.

Wenger served as treasurer of Full Gospel Business Mens' Fellowship International, Beverly Hills, Calif.

He is also survived by two daughters, Dr. Lisa Wenger, Narberth, Montgomery County, and Gemma Wenger, Santa Monica, Calif.

Other survivors include three sisters: Margaret M. (Wenger) Roberts, Reading; and Helene C. (Wenger) McDonough and Anne M. (Wenger) Mills, both of Wyomissing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
