Raymond T. Scheffler

Raymond T. Scheffler, 90 of Alburtis died August 31st in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Lombardi) Scheffler. Ray was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and was the son of the late Raymond T. and Odette (Pearce) Scheffler. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Raymond was a self-employed landscaper for many years in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In addition to his wife, a son, Benjamin husband of Patricia Scheffler, Kempton, three grandchildren, Pamela wife of Steven Macbeth, Upper Bern Township, Brian R. husband of Kristin Scheffler, Leesport and Gregory B. husband of Kelly Scheffler, Upper Bern Township and ten great grandchildren survive him including Colby serving in the US Marine Corp with his wife Morgan in San Diego, Calif. Raymond is also survived by a sister Henrietta and a niece Deborah wife of Carl Kennedy both of Fairport, NY. and was predeceased by a sister Suzanne Voorhees and a son Thomas Scheffle. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 11:30 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA.
