Raymond G. Mast

Raymond G. Mast, 80, of Pike Township, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 in the Reading Hospital where he was admitted earlier in the day.

He was the husband of Gloria B. (Reinert) Mast.

Born in Morgantown, he was a son of the late Samuel and Minnie (Bewley) Mast.

He, along with his wife, operated one of the first dairy farms in the Oley Valley area for many years until retiring.

He was a member of the Pike Township Sportsmans Associaiton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Dale R. Mast and wife Claire of Pike Township; Cynthia L. Kenney, wife of William Armstrong of Harrisburg and Gerald L. Mast and wife Mary of Pike Township. Also surviving are his siblings: Horace, Ralph and Marge and 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandaughter. He was predeceased by his siblings: Edith, Daniel and Arthur.

Services will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Friends and family may view on Friday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Interment in Oley Mennonite Cemetery.
