Raymond D. Kushmore

Raymond D. "Biff" Kushmore, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018, in his Spring Township home. Born November 2, 1942 in Reading Hospital, Biff was a son of the late Raymond and Mary (Hughes) Kushmore

He attended Oratory Prep School, Summit, NJ, and attended Dayton University. Biff then joined the Army, serving our national proudly with the 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles." He was a talented carpenter, working in a number of area locations through the years.

A true free spirit, Biff loved horse racing, the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, and, early on, attending Reading Indians baseball games at the Stadium with his dad and brother.

Biff is survived by a brother Michael F. Kushmore, Yardley, PA, a sister, Celeste Lawrence, West Lawn, and several nieces and nephews.

The public is invited to Biff's graveside service to be held Friday, November 2, 2018, at 11:00am at Fairview Cemetery, Shillington.
