Raymond W. Jones

Raymond W. Jones, 85, died November 24, 2008 in his Shillington residence.

He was the husband of Jean (White) Jones.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George W. and Johnnie B. (Bowen) Jones.

Raymond was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1940.

He was a carpenter for 30 years for White Tower Corp., Stamford, CT retiring in 1980. Mr. Jones was a lifetime member of Carpenters Union #492, Reading.

Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Diane M. (Jones) Waradzin, Mohnton; and his two sons, Richard D., Mohnton and Michael R., Pasco, WA. Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive him.
