Raymond J. Jackson

Raymond J. Jackson, 69, of Shillington, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2015.

He was the loving husband of 47 years to Carol A. (Graul) Jackson.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Willard and Margaret (Dukay) Jackson.

He was a graduate of Reading High School in 1963 and the Reading Business Institute in 1965.

Raymond proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years.

He was also a member of the Nativity Lutheran Church in Reading.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Tracy A., Muhlenberg Township and her son Gage; and Trevor S., husband to Rickee, Wyomissing and their children: Trevor, Jr., Avery and Cash.

Raymond was a loving, hardworking, strong, and happy man. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. Raymond also was an avid reader, car enthusiast and loved to travel with his wife.

The viewing will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following the viewing at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
