Raymond Charles Huey

Raymond Charles Huey, Jr., 65, died May 20, 2014 at his Laureldale residence.

He was the long-time companion of Penny Elliott.

Born November 13, 1948 in West Reading, he was a son of the late Raymond Charles, Sr. and Evelyn Reba (Epler) Huey.

Ray was a 1966 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

He was employed as a supervisor with U.S. Postal Service, Reading for 32 years, retiring in January, 2006.

Ray served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

Surviving are his three children: Christopher J., husband of Lauren Huey of Douglassville; Timothy R. Huey of Leesport and Kimberly E. Huey of Cumru Township.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N 11th St, Reading, PA 19604.
