Raymond S. Hill

Raymond S. Hill, 79 of West Wyomissing, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in ManorCare, West Reading.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Ethel M. Eckert.

Raymond was raised by his grandparents, Christopher and Cora Hill.

He was employed as a machine operator at Federal Mogel for over 20 years until his retirement. After retirement, he drove a school bus for Wilson School District for several years.

Raymond enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by six children: James Hill, Brenda Hill, Kim Bunyard, Rhonda Putt, Chris Hill and Scott Hill; a sister: Elsie, widow of Norman Showers, Leesport, and a brother; John L., husband of Carol A. Renaudette, Mohnton. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive him.

Raymond was predeceased by his sister, Nancy McCrae.

A memorial service will be held, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
