Raymond C. Hacker

Raymond C. Hacker, 94, died May 21, 2012 in ManorCare Sinking Spring where he had been since 2008.

His wife, Doris L. (Nester) Hacker, passed away April 16, 2012.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harvey and Anna (Hornberger) Hacker.

Raymond was employed as a crane operator for the Reading Railroad; was an ice delivery man and owned the School House Hotel and Dining West Hotel. He retired from Fromm Electric as a truck driver in 1982.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lee, widow of Skeet Eby, Fleetwood; his sister, Arlene Boyer, Reading and his granddaughter, Denise L. Heffner, West Reading. Two great-grandchildren, Seth and Devon and two great-great-grandchildren, Jayden and Isaiah also survive him.
