Raymond H. White

Raymond H. White, 74, died September 29, 2011 in his Kenhorst residence.

He was the companion of Doris Dorsey, with whom he resided.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late D. Raymond and Bessie M. (Dice) White.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by his daughter, Tracey J., wife of Jeff J. Weitzel, Blandon; three grandchildren: Jeff, Jr., Chad, Christy and two great-granddaughters: Hennisey and Ilyana. Also surviving is his aunt, Dorothy White, Kenhorst.

Raymond was predeceased by his brother, Harold White.

He was a 1955 graduate of Reading High School.

Raymond worked as a clerk in the parts department for Tom Masano Auto Group, Reading for over 13 years. He officially retired in 1999 but continued his employment with them as a driver for the last 10 years.

He was a member and former Vice President of the Marion Township Rod and Gun Club, Stouchsburg; a member of Womelsdorf Rod and Gun Club; a lifetime member of Grill Fire Company and a member of Kenhorst Fire Company.

Raymond was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed horseback riding.

He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, West Lawn.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Yocum Cemetery, Grill. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
