Raymond W. Folk

Raymond Walter Folk, Jr., 72, of Catawissa, Columbia County, died December 3, 2012 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Montour County.

He was the husband of Ina Mae (Christ) Folk.

Born July 4, 1940 in West Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Raymond W. Folk Sr., and Mildred Mae (Gehret) Hartman.

He was employed 38 years as a steel worker with Dana Parish Corporation, Reading, retiring in 1999.

Raymond is also survived by two daughters: Michele L. Folk of Union Township, Schuylkill County and Cynthia L. (Folk) Do, of Womelsdorf.

Other survivors include three siblings: Debbie (Folk), wife of Gary Mason of Lancaster; Kathy (Folk), wife of Harold Ohlinger of Wernersville and Ann Louise (Hartman), wife of Thomas Straub of Robesonia.

There are also two grandchildren: Mark A. Le and Melanie L. Le.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Gerald and Barry.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am until time of services. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
