Raymond F. Dietrich

Raymond F. Dietrich, 84 of Tilden Township died May 28, 2010 in Laurel Center, Tilden Township where he resided the past 18 months. He was the husband of Betty Lou (Reis) Dietrich. Raymond was born in Richmond Township and was the son of the late Pious and Ida Mae (Hottenstein) Dietrich. Raymond was a self employed farmer for many years. After retiring from farming he worked on the road crew in Tilden Township, and was a custodian at the Leesport Market and St. Michaels Church. He was a member of St. Michaels Church and former member of the Shartlesville Grange. Raymond had memberships in the following fire companies; Centerport, Shartlesville and Union Fire Company #1 of Hamburg. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 children; Arlan R. Dietrich, Upper Bern Township, Linda S. (Dietrich) wife of Dennis Anspach, Robesonia and Dr. Scott A. husband of Michele Dietrich, Bernville. 3 grandchildren; Matthew and Timothy Anspach and Katie Dietrich, 1 great grandson, Jack Anspach and 1 great granddaughter, Sariah Anspach and 1 step great granddaughter, Abby Pepper. Raymond is also survived by 3 sisters; Catherine Stern, Tilden Township, Helen wife of Lawrence Moyer, Temple and Dorothy McLaughlin, Tilden Township and 2 brothers; James Dietrich, Tilden Township and Harold Dietrich, Perry Township. He was predeceased by a daughter; Radene Louise Dietrich in 1958. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Zion's Moselem Church Cemetery, Richmond Township.
