Raymond T. Del Collo

Raymond T. Del Collo, 75, died of natural causes February 4th at 9:15 am in his residence at 412 Jefferson Street, Hyde Park, Pa 19605.

He was the husband of Carolyn (Shupp) Del Collo.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Anthony and Julia (Denorfio) Del Collo.

He worked for 20 years at Aluminum Marble and Stone, Reading until his retirement in 1991.

Del Collo was previously a co-owner and operator 10 years for CorkDel Construction, Reading.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Del Collo was an assistant Temple CYO Baseball Coach in 1969.

He was a past president of the Reading Scuba and Rescue Team.

Del Collo was a member of the Goodwill Travelers Fishing Club.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Del Collo is also survived by a daughter, Bonnie A. (Del Collo) Turner of Shillington and two sons, John A. husband of Maureen (Mazzo) Del Collo of Temple and Michael husband of Pamela J. (Anderson) Del Collo of Denver, Lancaster County.

Other survivors include five grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was predeceased by a brother, William Del Collo and a sister, Arlene Del Collo.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Berks Visiting Nurse Association 1170 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, Pa 19610. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
