Raymond A. Kirschman

Raymond A. Kirschman, 89, formerly of Lincoln Park, passed away April 30, 2016 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harry E. and Esther M. (White) Kirschman.

He was the beloved husband of June E. (Maurer) Kirschman, who died January 2, 2007.

He was a 1944 graduate of Reading High School.

Raymond was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II.

He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Company as an electrician.

Raymond was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church.

He was a lifetime member of Sinking Spring VFW.

Raymond is survived by his children: Robin A. wife of Ronald Fritz, Lake Wynonah; Greg A., husband of Jackie Kirschman, Sinking Spring; and Brad L., husband of Geene Kirschman, Berkeley, CA. Five grandchildren: Stacie, Stephanie, Nicholas, Amanda, and Margarita and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Leah also survive him.

Graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Charles Evans Cemetery, 1119 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
