Ray R. Henry

Ray (Dick) Henry, 85 of Molino, died November 27, 2017 in Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Lois L. (Snell) Henry who died November 29, 2014. He was born in Port Clinton & was the son of the late Harvey and Marie (Schaller) Henry. He was a machinist, welder & carpenter most of his life working for various businesses throughout the area. Ray was always proud that he built his own home & cabin in northern PA where he loved going with his family & many friends. There he could relax, listen to his beloved country music & enjoy the many deer, bear, foxes & turkeys that frequented the cabin yard. Ray enjoyed nature & many outdoor activities such as hunting, four-wheeling & snowmobiling with his buddies. Ray also loved to tinker in many home & cabin projects. He especially enjoyed woodworking & hand-crafted many items ranging from toys to intricate cabinetry. Ray is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. wife of Michael J. Huck, Temple & Susan M. wife of Walter Kline, and a grandson Michael R. Eckert, both of Orwigsburg. A sister, Betty Shuman & a brother, Harvey Henry, Jr. predeceased Ray. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside S.P.C.A.
