Ray A. Miller, 93, died March 11, 2011 in Kutztown Manor.
He was the husband of Arlene M. (Anderson) Miller.
Born in Topton, he was a son of the late Jere M. and Laura (Rienert) Miller.
Ray became an Aviation Electrician's Mate Second in the U.S. Navy from which he was honorably discharged. Ray was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII.
He worked for the Holiday Inn, Allentown, Firestone, Pottstown and he and his wife owner and operated Arlene & Ray's Cafe, Fleetwood for almost 12 years.
He was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. He was a lifetime member of Pikeville Sportsman's Assn., Temple Fire Co. and The American Legion, Post No. 625, Fleetwood, PA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Robert P. Miller, Boyertown. He was predeceased by a sister, Jane Kramer, Strausstown.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Molltown Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
