Raul Mercado Gomez

Raul Mercado, 49, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was the companion of Brittney Soto.

Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Casiana Gomez and the late Raul Mercado. After graduating from high school, Raul was employed as a facilities keeper at Wawa.

Raul was a passionate and strong-willed person. He had a deep well of compassion and was a kind soul who would help anyone. He was a Mr. Fix-it and could repair anything. He was a jokester and a good cook. Raul will be remembered for his love of both his children and roosters.

Left to treasure his memory are his beloved partner, Brittney, three children: Layona Soto, Elena Mercado-Soto, and Jayden Mercado-Soto, mother, Casiana, and 11 siblings.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
