Randall Paul Delp, 57, of Alsace Twp., died June 7, 2008 at 2:45 p.m. in the Reading Hospital, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was the loving husband of Debra Lengel.
Born in Fleetwood, he was a son of the late Harold and Mildred (Heller) Delp.
He was a graduate of Oley Valley High School in 1970.
Randall had worked for Carpenter Technology, Reading for 20 years until his retirement in May 2007.
He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Randy loved to hunt, fish, watch football (especially the Eagles), lift weights, look at cars and spend time with his four puppies.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lengel, Sinking Spring. There are four sisters, Kathryn Adams, Fleetwood; Gloria, wife of Forest Eshbach, Reading; Dorothy, wife of Richard Lempas, Fleetwood and Sandra, wife of Larry Kemmerling, Temple; and two brothers, Robert Delp, Fleetwood and Jerry Delp, Lobachsville. Other survivors include three nieces and two nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Salem Shalter's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
