Ralph Herman Watt, 93, formerly of Irish Creek Village, Mohrsville passed away July 7, 2012 in his residence at Keystone Villa of Fleetwood.
He was predeceased by his wife, Miriam F. (Field) Watt in 2008.
Born January 26, 1919 in Reading, he was a son of the late Ralph Winfield and Bertha D. (Sallada) Watt.
Ralph was a member of Grace (Alsace) United Church of Christ, Muhlenberg Township.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Ralph enjoyed watching the Phillies and was involved with the Shoemakersville Senior's Group, once teaching line dancing with his wife for 20 years. They took many bus trips and he loved going to the casino. He also called bingo and was invloved in many other aspects of the senior's group.
Ralph is survived by two sons, Gary L., husband of Pamela Watt of Cuba, Missouri; Richard A., husband of Lynda (Harris) Watt of Santa Paula, CA and a daughter, Gail L., wife of Richard F. Plank of Ruscombmanor Township.
He is also survived by a sister, Fern Kennedy of Estell Manor, NJ.
There are eight grandchildren, Gayle, John, Julie, Jeremy, Dawn, Janine, Geoffrey and Ashley and a great granddaughter, Megan Graves and many nieces and nephews also surviving.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
