Ralph Bryan Reinert

Ralph Bryan Reinert, 92, of Earl Township died August 25, 2014 in ManorCare Health Service, Muhlenberg Township.

He was the husband of Juliabelle (Oswald) Reinert who died July 7, 2003.

Born March 4, 1922 in Oley, he was a son of the late Cyril and Catherine (Bryan) Reinert.

Ralph was a graduate of Oley Valley High School.

He was employed as a machine operator with Stanley G. Flaggs, Stowe for over 30 years. Subsequently, he was employed as a courier with National Penn Bank for over 10 years.

Ralph was the fire chief with Earl Township Fire Department for 28 years.

He was a member of Pike Township sportsman association.

A hunter, Ralph loved people and had a great sense of humor. He was affectionately know by his grandchildren as "Pappy."

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Ralph is survived by his son, Steven, wife of Patty of Boyertown; his daughter, Shirley A. (Reinert) Venarchik of Boyertown; his two sisters, Gloria Mast and Betty Bortz, both of Oley; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Lobachsville Cemetery.
