Ralph R. Rauenzahn

Ralph R. Rauenzahn, 79 of Fleetwood, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 5:06 am in the residence of his daughter Joanne McCulley.

His wife, Shirley (Degler) Rauenzahn passed away on October 12, 1972.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Stanley and Verna (Borrell) Rauenzahn.

Ralph was a barber in the Oley area for 50 years and served in the Army and the National Guard.

He was the father of Joanne, wife of Lynn D. McCulley of Rockland Township and Richard R. Rauenzahn, husband of Linda of Shillington. He was a brother to Leonard Rauenzahn of Muhlenberg Township. He was a grandfather to Crystal L. (Rauenzahn) Heck; Christopher D. McCulley; Jeffrey D. McCulley; Daniel Rauenzahn and Matthew Rauenzahn. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Marcia A. Rauenzahn on November 16, 1989.

Services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 11:00 am in Salem (Shalters) Lutheran Church, 2032 Mount Laurel Road, Alsace Township with Rev. Lesley Hand officiating. Friends may call from 10:30-11:00 am in the church. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Reiffton.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions in his memory may be made to any Citizen's Bank in the name of Ralph Rauenzahn.
