Ralph Samuel Mast

Ralph Samuel Mast, 77, of Exeter Township, passed away July 27, 2013 in St Joseph Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.

Ralph enjoyed life on the farm; tending to the live stock and the gardens. He also enjoyed driving his truck, working on cars in his son-in-law's body shop and watching NASCAR. He could fix anything and has a great sense of direction; he was his own GPS. He adored his family and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was known to everyone as PopPop. He took time to spend one-on-one time with his grandchildren and was always "seeing a man about a horse". He will be dearly missed.

He was a member of Schwarzwald U.C.C., Reading.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his four daughters: Denise, wife of Joseph Rohrbaugh, York; Charlene Hollenbach, Exeter Township; Pamela, wife of Michael Burkhart, Birdsboro and Deborah, wife of Joseph Vesci, Sr., Hatfield. Also surviving are his son-in-law, Roger Moyer, Harleysville; his sister, Margie Steffen, Lititz, and his brother, Horace Mast, Morgantown. Nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way also survive him.

Ralph was predeceased by his daughter, Beverly Dorothy Moyer, in 2006 and his four siblings: Edith, Daniel, Arthur and Raymond.
