Ralph W. Bailey

Ralph W. Bailey, 96, formerly of West Reading and Cape Cod, Mass., died Jan. 28 in EPOCH Senior Health Care of Brewster, Mass.

His wife, Ada (Redclift) Bailey, died in October 1974.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Irwin R. and Clara (Faust) Bailey.

Bailey was employed for 31 years as an accountant by Stroehmann's Bakery, Reading, retiring in 1972.

He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Bailey was a former Boy Scout leader.

Surviving are a daughter, Claire B. (Bailey) Nelson, Dennis, Mass.; and a son, Philip W., Somers, N.Y.

Other survivors include four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. The Hallett Funeral Home, South Yarmouth, Mass., is in charge of arrangements.
