Rachel Marie Howe

Rachel Marie Howe, 19, of Mohrsville, was taken from this world too soon on July 8, 2021. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Richard and Karen (Weaver) Howe of Mohrsville.

A student at Bloomsburg University studying business, Rachel graduated from Tulpehocken Area School District in 2020. While home for the summer, Rachel worked at the Redner's of Leesport.

Rachel was athletic and played both softball and field hockey while at Tulpehocken. She enjoyed time spent with her friends, especially at the beach. Her family will remember her as a happy young woman just discovering who she was in the world.

Her memory will be cherished by her parents, Richard and Karen, and her sister, Greta. Rachel is also remembered by her grandfather, Leslie Weaver of Wernersville; her uncle Michael R. Howe of Wyomissing; her aunts, Tammy Sizer (Brian) of Greenetown and Susan Davis (Mark) of North Carolina; and many loving cousins.

Rachel was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Gale Weaver and paternal grandparents MaryJane and Russell Howe.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 6:00 pm at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, officiated by Rev. Denise Keltz. Rachel's family will receive guests beginning at 5:00 pm until the beginning of services.
